What are the dates of the festival?

July 10th & 11th, 2021. Can't wait another day?! Choose the Friday early check-in option and start the party sooner with the official pre-party on July 9th with an extra night's stay at the Moxy included.

What are the hours each day?

What iF I WANT TO ATTEND THE EVENT ALONE? DO I STILL HAVE TO PURCHASE A ROOM PACKAGE?

Right now the payment is for the whole room, for 2 to 4 people, but we don't want that to stop you. We encourage you to join the Retrospekt Facebook group and post about it. Or you can reach out to our Instagram and we can help connect you with new friends to split the room with.

What is RETROSPEKT?

RETROSPEKT is an intimate, fantastical two-day and night music art and cinematic experience July 10-11, 2021, catering to those young at heart. It is a pathway to discovery, inspired by nostalgia. Thrown in the heart of Miami Beach, RETROSPEKT is the takeover of the entire Moxy South Beach hotel and all of its properties.Time travel across three beautifully immersive music stages and 10+ exploratory zones from the past of the roaring ’20s filled with analog music decorated with art deco & surrealism to living life fully in the present with sunshine at the pool to blasting off into space exploration on the roof at the playa in the sky.

Who is producing RETROSPEKT?

Ideaison, is a female-founded entertainment company, we strongly believe in supporting those that are under-represented. From the LGBTQIA+ community to people of color, we believe in equal opportunity for all. How many sets are there?

50 + sets that range from 1 hour to 2+ with over 14+ hours of music, art, and dance!

Where is RETROSPEKT?

RETROSPEKT is at the Moxy South Beach Hotel in Miami, Florida — 915 Washington Ave.

Is this online or in person?

RETROSPEKT is LIVE in person for a small intimate capacity of 1,000 people at the Moxy South Beach in Miami, Florida. There will be an online component announced closer to the event.

What does my ticket get me?

Depends on which ticket you purchase, but you can stay in the action, or come for the fun each day! To view what is included in the day passes & packages, choose your experience here.

Where do I stay?

The all-in packages include a hotel room at the Moxy South Beach, onsite of the festival. This is the best bang for your buck, but these rooms are super limited and going fast. For Single and Two Day Pass holders, no hotel room is included.

How is RETROSPEKT treating COVID safety?

Due to the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, RETROSPEKT Music Festival and partners are planning additional safety precautions and protocols for the protection of all concert Attendees, Staff, and Artists. It is of the utmost importance to RETROSPEKT Music Festival to execute an event that is safe, healthy, and ethical. RETROSPEKT will be keeping open communication and taking direction from both the CDC and local health agency advisories to update and stay current with either lessening or strengthening any of the following protocols.

For more information on our COVID-19 protocol, check out our COVID SAFETY page. We are approaching the festival with a two-tiered COVID-19 model, two-part negative testing OR proof of vaccine.

Will there be food and drink at RETROSPEKT? Will there be options for food intolerances and various dietary restrictions?

Yes and yes! You name it, we’ll cover it.

Is RETROSPEKT for all ages?

No, this is a 21+ event.

I am flying into Miami from a different city, which airport should I fly to?

The closest airport to the Moxy is Miami International Airport (MIA). Other options are Fort Lauderdale Airport which is about 30 minutes away. 

What about ADA accessibility?

RETROSPEKT is fully ADA compliant, with the exception of the swimming pools.

How many stages are there?

There are three stages open from noon to at least midnight each day. 

Our Past Stage is located in the first-floor lobby, where you will be transported to the roaring ’20s… 1920’s that is. Art deco and surrealism will inspire design. Festival-goers will be encouraged to slow down and enjoy the analog world. 

Our Present Stage is located on the second-floor outdoor oasis, combining the pool area and extending into Serena, the hotel’s newest hot spot restaurant in South Beach. The Present Stage reflects our current feelings, coming out on the other side of COVID and quarantine. We feel a sense of renewal, release, and reconnection with nature. The design will be organic and botanical. 

Our Future Stage is located on the 8th-floor rooftop. A discoverable stage that reads: Space Hotel. Immersive characters and aerialists including aliens and space cowboys will enhance the experience up top.

What types of music?

RETROSPEKT is a multi-genre music festival, including acoustic singer-songwriters, indie rock, hip hop, R&B, pop, blues, rap, dance, reggae, house and disco.

I’m a local musician, can I play?

What’s included in my hotel package?

A hotel room of your choosing for a two-night stay (with optional early check-in on Friday) at the Moxy South Beach, plus a ticket to RETROSPEKT. Please see our packages on our website here for more information.

What’s the difference between tickets for Fri & Sat?

The Friday early check-in tickets include a three-night stay at the Moxy and access to the Official Friday Pre-Party. Saturday check-in includes a two-night stay at the Moxy.

Are there discounts for bundle tickets?

How do the ticket packages work with rooms at the Moxy?

On our Ticketing site, there are several room options to choose from for two to four people.

Do I have to stay at the Moxy?

No, Day Pass holders do not need to stay at the Moxy.

Can I leave the festival and return the same day?

Re-entry is allowed, but for the safety of all guests, non-vaccinated attendees are responsible for purchasing and receiving a PCR test within 72 hours upon arrival at RETROSPEKT, with the results logged into the VOW Health App. Tests will not be administered on-site.

If I leave Saturday night, does that mean that I can’t come back in on Sunday? What is the protocol for Day Two?

Similar to re-entry, if you leave the venue Saturday night, you can return on Sunday as long as you receive a PCR test and upload the results into the VOW Health App. We will not be providing PCR tests at the Moxy. If you are vaccinated and have already provided proof, you do not need to receive a PCR test and may re-enter.

How and when will I receive my ticket?

Your tickets will be sent to you via email as soon as you complete your payment! Be sure to register each person in your hotel room with their name and email address so that they can check-in too. If you opt in for text messages, you will also receive a barcode for your tickets via phone.

Are refunds available?

There are no refunds but you can resell your ticket via Lyte.

How can I access my ticket order?

Within your ticket confirmation email, you will find a “View & Manage Order” link. Or go to https://tickets.retrospektfest.com/e/retrospekt-miami/resend and enter your email address you purchased tickets with to have your ticket confirmation resent to you.

Can I upgrade my ticket?

Upgrades will be available onsite at guest services per availability.

How does the payment plan option work?

To use our Payment Plan option, select the Payment Plan option at checkout and complete the four installments by July 1st! Each payment is ¼ of the total price.

Does my ticket include the afters?

Only VIP room packages include a guestlist for the afters. You can purchase access to the afters as an add-on for other tickets/packages via our ticketing website.

Who is playing the after parties?

We’ll announce, likely via text (or, if you’re lucky, carrier pigeon) closer to the festival dates. But trust us, they’re good.

Where are the afters located?

The afters will be located in Mezcalista and Como Como, restaurants located within the Moxy South Beach.

What should I pack for RETROSPEKT?

Can I bring my own drinks into my hotel room?

No. Alcohol must be purchased on-site.
